UCOMM Media Group is happy to announce that we have been retained by the Plainedge Federation of Teachers (PFT). The 300 member strong PFT members teach over 3,000 students in Plainedge's three elementary, middle, and high school. Like our other education union clients, the PFT supports a parent's right to choose to opt-out of high stakes testing and is currently welcoming growth at the school district. "They currently have labor peace with a new contract," says Kris LaGrange. "The timing is perfect right now for us to work with President Perry Fuchs and his team to strengthen and improve their communications methods and structure." The PFT is very active in the community, participating in Making Strides for Breast Cancer, the Brian Moore Memorial Fund and they dole out over $7,000 a year in college scholarships. PFT members also participate in the ACS Relay for Life. UCOMM has reserved PlainedgeTeachers.org and a new, mobile-friendly website in the works along with an internal e-newsletter, blast text messaging, photo and video libraries, and messaging with communications consultation.
