New Client: Nassau COBA
We are happy to announce that UCOMM Communications has ben retained by the Nassau County Sheriff’s Correction Officers Benevolent Association. "We are extremely excited to work with President John Jaronczyk and all his staff, officers and members in bringing their communications into the 21st Century" says Kris LaGrange. "I have a good feeling about this union, I know we are going to move quickly and efficiently because they already reserved the NassauCOBA.com domain. That shows that they are truly ready to roll up the sleeves and get to work." UCOMM Communications will be building them a website of their liking with all the usual UCOMM Communications bells and whistles; a scrolling photo gallery, high resolution graphic banner images, a video gallery, social networking links and buttons, rss news feeds, newsletter submission forms, upcoming events listings, recent news updates, and an easy to use navigation menu bar. All UCOMM Communications websites are safe on our server, and the NassauCOBA.com website will have a members only private side, where only the members of the union can review delicate information. "We welcome this challenge of developing a public and private website" adds Kris LaGrange. "Since Corrections Officers deal with violent convicted felons, we need to protect their privacy and we will do just that. We are shooting for having the website completed by Labor Day 2012."
In addition, UCOMM will be working with the leaders to develop a internal e-newsletter, and a public newsletter to inform the political and civic community about all the good charity work that the unions does. In addition, UCOMM Communications will be working with the union leadership on strategic messaging, as well as a host of other tactics that will help the union communicate effectively with the public, the members and key leaders in the community.
