UCOMM Launches We Are Local 12

UCOMM Communications is proud to announce the launch of the Insulators Local 12 promotional video. The We Are Local 12 video is availble on insulatorslocal12.org and on our video profile page. This video highlights the union and shows the intricacies of their work, the different types of jobs they do, and showcases the Apprenticeship Program and the skill of their craft.

Commenting on the video's message, Business Manager Dennis Ippolito said that "this video is a good tool for us to use when educating owners and developers, union contractors, non-union contractors, new members, apprentices and the unorganized."  Ippolitio also praises the membership for participating in the videos development. "You represented our union well" he said in the latest issue of their e-newsltter The Salamnder.

UCOMM Communications has these types of videos down to a science. "We had an idea of what we were looking for, and the membership's message really directed the flow of the video," says Kris LaGrange. The 19 minute video documentary, mixed with music and graphics, was a process which involved every aspect of the local union. "I am really proud of the entire Local 12 organization. We all worked hard together to make this happen."
